The 2015 I Will Intervene Challenge is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
It will feature the newest curriculum in intervention developed by the Master Resilience Institute of Armed Forces Mission. The one-day workshop emphasizes active listening for signs of suicide risk, learning why the person has reached this point, and leading him or her to move toward life-promoting activities that will enhance resilience and reduce risk of suicide.
