It has been my honor to serve as councilman and mayor of Tyrone for the last 8 years, and I wanted you to be one of the first to know that I have officially begun my re-election campaign.

During my time as town councilman and mayor, the town of Tyrone:

· Was named the “Happiest City in Georgia” (2014 and 2015).

· Has consistently been ranked as one of the “Top 10 Safest Cities in Georgia.”

· Has been named as one of the “Best Suburbs to Raise a Family” in Georgia.

· Has not raised the millage rate while maintaining a healthy reserve fund.

· Has invested in significant improvements to our parks for the enjoyment of our citizens.

· Has taken a more active approach in our resurfacing projects.

· Has worked on infrastructure challenges to improve the downtown corridor.

Many of you have already generously asked me how you can help. Here are a few ways:

· Join us in going door to door.

· Allow me to place a yard sign at your home or business.

· Share my “Mayor Eric Dial” Facebook page with your friends.

· Host me in your home or HOA meeting to meet your neighbors.

· Join me in the multiple events of Founders Day wearing my t-shirt. For a schedule of events, [go to] www.tyronefoundersday.org/schedule-of-events.html

· Support me financially by contributing to the Committee to Elect Eric Dial. P.O. Box 7, Tyrone, GA 30290.

· Pray for my family and me that we will handle well the challenges of a campaign.

If you can help in any of these ways or have other ideas, please reply to this email or call me on my cell at 404-391-1020.

Eric Dial, mayor
Tyrone, Ga.
