FFUMC’s S.A.G.E. ministry keeps seniors busy

The S.A.G.E. group (Senior Adults Going Everywhere) at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church keeps busy with monthly activities and day trips scheduled throughout the year.

Members also have an indoor walking program in the Family Life Center with walks scheduled four days a week. A $1 donation per walk supports a variety of church projects and missions.

This month the group  took a guided tour of the Lane Southern Orchards and packing plant facility with lunch at the Peachtree Cafe afterwards. Next month, Aug. 19, they are planning an “Atlanta’s Rich and Famous” tour. Tours usually last from about 9 a.m. until mid- to late afernoon and transportation is included in the nominal cost.
