A Kid’s Free Dentistry Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at It’s a Small World Children’s Dentistry, 2680 Highway 34 E, Suite A in Newnan.
Children ages 13 and under in the community will have the opportunity to receive free dental care from Dr. Alisa Moore and team. A free exam and cleaning will be provided per patient.
“One-third of Americans are living without dental insurance and current economic conditions leave little room to afford dental procedures,” according to a statement from the event’s organizers. “Without events like Free Dentistry Day, dental care simply isn’t an option for many uninsured people. We look at Kid’s Free Dentistry Day as an opportunity to fill a desperate need for dental care in our community.”
It will also help fulfill the school enrollment requirement for dental examination in accordance with the Georgia Department of Human Resources.
Patients will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with 300 patients being the cut off. Those interested can call It’s A Small World Children’s Dentistry at 770-502-9733 for more information.
