The Whitewater and McIntosh High Schools’ choral departments are teaming up to present “Sounds of the Season” Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church.

The directors are Richard Prouty, of Whitewater, and Hannah Beth Potter, of McIntosh.

The choruses will be accompanied by McIntosh’s symphony and Whitewater’s women’s ensemble.

Admission to the concert is free, but the choruses will collect donations to benefit the Bloom Closet, a private, non-profit organization founded in 1986 by a group of Fayette County citizens recognizing the need for children to have a safe refuge from abuse and neglect.

The group formed the Fayette Youth Protection Home, Inc., which was its original name.
