Siena Dittrich of Peachtree City was recently selected to participate in the 2014 Miss Teen Atlanta pageant competition that will take place on Sunday, Dec. 14.
Dittrich submitted an application and took part in an interview session conducted by this year’s Atlanta pageant coordinator.
Dittrich will be competing for thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will compete in the Miss Teen division, one of four divisions that have young ladies ages 7 to 19 competing in modeling routines, which includes casual and formal wear.
Dittrich will also display her personality and interviewing skills in front of the Atlanta judging panel. Personality is the No. 1 aspect contestants are judged on during the phases of the competition.
If Dittrich wins the Miss Teen Atlanta title, she would represent Atlanta and surrounding cities at the National Competition in Orlando, Fl. Over $30,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the National Competition, and each winner enjoys an expense-paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando.
Community businesses, organizations and individuals are assisting Dittrich in participating in this year’s competition by sponsoring her. Through sponsorship, each contestant receives all the necessary training, rehearsals and financial support for the pageant.
