The Fayette Chamber of Commerce is unveiling its 2014-2015 Fayette Community Source magazine.
For the second year in a row, the chamber partnered with The Citizen Newspapers to create an engaging quality-of-life magazine, providing visitor information and highlighting what makes Fayette County an unparalleled place to live, work and play.
The pages of the Source are filled with stories and photos that showcase the people, places and opportunities that are uniquely Fayette — some old, some new.
Readers can learn about Lisa Kelly, international singing star and new Fayette County resident and business owner; Adams Farm, the iconic farm and market that has been a fresh food destination for local residents for generations; and the Southern Hollywood Film Tour, introducing residents and visitors alike to Fayette’s starring role in films and television.
In addition, the Source offers its readers valuable information about the following:
• Education — the county’s acclaimed public school system and higher education offerings;
• Economy — local industry and small business resources;
• Community — Fayette’s world-class healthcare resources, community support organizations, and public safety agencies; and
• Place — the county’s signature events and amenities.
“The Fayette Community Source is intended to be the ‘go-to’ guide for visitors to learn about Fayette and find information they need,” said Virginia Gibbs, President & CEO of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce. “And it also serves as a ‘brag book’ for residents who are fiercely proud of this community and are excited to be a part of someplace special.”
The cover states that the best of all worlds can be found in Fayette. The chamber is proud to present the Fayette Community Source.
Copies of the Fayette Community Source can be found at the chamber offices, as well as county and city libraries, real estate offices, and dozens of other high traffic areas around the county. A digital edition of the magazine can be found on the Fayette Chamber website at www.FayetteChamber.org.
