Maria is a young Belgian Malinois with a sparkling personality and a resilient spirit. At just 43 pounds, she’s on the smaller side for her breed, but Maria carries herself with the grace and athleticism Malinois are known for. She’s affectionate, dog-friendly, people-friendly, and always ready for an adventure.
Maria came to the shelter with a significant eye injury, and although she had to have that eye removed, she hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. True to her breed, Maria has energy to spare and will thrive in a home where she’ll have structure, leadership, and plenty of activity.
Malinois are exceptionally smart and eager to learn, and Maria is no exception. With the right outlet for her mind and body, she’ll shine as a loyal, devoted companion.
