Shirley is not just stunning; she also has the brains. She came into the shelter with her brother Roderick, who was adopted a few weeks ago. Shirley is observant, is treat motivated and eager to learn. She is looking for a leader as much as she is looking for a human mom or dad. Somebody familiar with working breeds and who can help by providing with what needs to thrive; structure.

At just over 1.5 years old and 66lbs, this athletic and agile girl is loved by both volunteers and staff. She seems interested in chasing cats at times, and spends her walks checking back with the handler, as if needing to make sure they are still there, and to see what is next.

If you love the shepherd kind, the working kind, the smart kind… Shirley is your girl!

The Fayette County Animal Shelter is located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Shirley will catch your eye!!
