The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but police have identified him: Shane McCall, a Hispanic male, driving a dark blue four-door vehicle believed to be a Hyundai Accent with a sticker in the rear window that reads “DB Auto.”

Police said he currently has two warrants for his arrest and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees his vehicle is urged not to approach it and to call 911.

The investigation is active and ongoing, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Doug Morris at dmorris@tyrone.org.

Elsewhere in the county, a Peachtree City police officer responded April 11 to the Holiday Inn on Newgate Road in reference to a customer possibly using a stolen credit card to pay for a room. Dionte Fleming, 27, of Fairburn was arrested for felony financial transaction card fraud as well as marijuana possession.

Peachtree City officers were dispatched April 11 to the area of 101 Dan Lakly Drive due to multiple unwanted vehicles being in the parking lot of a business as it was closing. An officer made contact with a female on the scene who was found to be under the influence of suspected alcohol and cannabis products, according to a report. She was also found to be in possession of multiple THC edibles. Eliana Gomez, 23, of Fayetteville was arrested on a felony drug charge as well as DUI of alcohol.
