Save the date for a charity benefit for The Women at The WELL, Saturday, October 14, 2023. The upcoming fundraising event will support the vision to establish a home base for the nonprofit ministry that provides connections through Stories of HOPE, fellowship, and community through faith-based resources in the Fayette County area.
The Women at The WELL, a 501c3 nonprofit, is connecting women through Stories of HOPE from brokenness to redemption, through a prayer ministry, events, workshops, life-changing annual retreats, and implementing programs to meet the spiritual, mental, and emotional needs of women in our community and beyond.
The organization was founded in 2016 by Debbie Gronner, who is driven to share the HOPE she found through her own journey of pain struggles, and suffering. Debbie’s story is chronicled in her book, “I Got This! -GOD,” published under the author name Deborah Bennett in 2018.
“We are here to inspire, encourage and empower women to give them HOPE through stories,” Debbie said at last year’s charity benefit. The Women at The WELL is a safe place to connect and be real and raw.”
Debbie shared the ministry’s vision to have a dedicated place where The Women at The WELL can host events, workshops, Bible studies, and prayer groups, a place for women to connect, pray, to be listened to, or enjoy conversations with friends.
“Women need women,” Debbie said. “That has been proven with over 500 women coming through our ministry in the last six years.”
The upcoming fundraising event will support this vision to establish a home base for the ministry.
Music featuring Luis Alas with a live band, a silent auction, and a barbecue dinner will be featured. Sponsorship opportunities are available with a few perks, including reserved seating. Seat reservations for guests are to be RSVP’d by September 25.
