FAYETTE COUNTY, GA — The Fayette County Board of Commissioners announced that Assistant County Administrator Jason Tinsley has been appointed to serve on multiple committees for the National Association of Counties (NACo) for the 2026-2027 term.
Tinsley will serve as vice chair of the Programs and Services Standing Committee, as well as an International Economic Development Innovation Council member, Midsize County Caucus member, and Rural Action Caucus member.
In a letter from NACo President George Dunlap, Tinsley was recognized for his unwavering commitment and exemplary dedication to NACo.
“Our greatest strength lies in the engagement of our members, and your active participation and leadership are vital to ensuring that we remain the united voice of America’s counties,” Dunlap said.
“We are proud to have Jason representing the county’s interests on matters pertaining to financial resources and fiscal management-related issues. This appointment is an opportunity to provide leadership on a national scale,” said County Administrator Steve Rapson. “Fayette County takes great pride in our fiscal stewardship, and I’m confident Jason will serve Georgia’s counties and the nation well in this leadership role.”
