State Rep. Josh Bonner (R–Fayetteville) announced today that he will seek re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives, continuing his bid to represent House District 73.
“Service to our country and state runs deep in my family, and it is an honor to see how our work at the Capitol and at home makes a real difference in easing family budgets, strengthening public safety, and helping veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms,” Bonner said. “We must be vigilant in defending those freedoms and values we cherish, and I remain committed to advancing conservative solutions that keep our district strong, safe, and prosperous.”
Bonner has represented House District 73 since 2017. He currently serves as chairman of the House Defense & Veterans Affairs Committee.
In addition to his chairmanship, Bonner is a member of the Appropriations, Creative Arts & Entertainment, Economic Development & Tourism, Human Relations & Aging, Industry and Labor, and Interstate Cooperation committees.
In the House, Bonner has focused on veterans issues and public safety policy.
House District 73 includes portions of Fayette and Coweta counties, including Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Sharpsburg, and Newnan.
