This week’s Citizen of the Week is Isabella Faler, a Starr’s Mill High School freshman whose talent and heart are already making a powerful impact in the community.

Last year, as part of a school project, Isabella launched a heartfelt initiative called Jewels for Jarod—a handmade jewelry fundraiser honoring the memory of Jarod, a young man whose story moved her deeply. Though she had never met him, Isabella was inspired to create and sell original pieces of jewelry, donating 100% of the proceeds to causes connected to his life.

Through her sales at community events across Fayette County, Isabella raised an impressive $1,344, which she donated to the Schizophrenia International Research Society and SoQuiet Misophonia Advocacy. Her mission brought awareness to two often misunderstood conditions—schizophrenia and misophonia—while honoring Jarod’s story and legacy.

Isabella’s efforts go far beyond her fundraising. She’s active in the 4.0 Gifted Program at Starr’s Mill and participates in Honor Choir, Thespian Drama, and the Georgia Singers Cast. She also performs with SETStudios, competing in musical theater, and has performed locally in Peachtree City and Senoia.

A member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Isabella volunteers regularly—serving at the church’s coffee bar and taking part in scripture readings.

Isabella Faler is proof that even the smallest ideas—rooted in kindness, creativity, and compassion—can blossom into something truly meaningful. Her drive to make a difference, especially at such a young age, is what makes her this week’s Citizen of the Week.
