Restaurant-made Thanksgiving dinner options

Everyone understands the stress of having to cook a feast for your family on Thanksgiving. If this stress is too much and cooking is not your thing, there are many local restaurants that are offering Thanksgiving meals and take-home sides that can help make the daunting task of making a Thanksgiving dinner everyone will enjoy a bit easier. 

Sit-Down Options:

Maguire’s Irish Pub in Senoia has a complete dining experience for Thanksgiving dinners and is taking reservations. The menu is vast, containing favorites such as roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, cottage pie, mac and cheese, pumpkin pie and more. Families may enjoy a 90-minute dining experience that is $19.95 for seniors over 70 and children under 12 and $34.95 for adults. They are also offering to-go boxes for $19.95. Enzo’s in Trilith is also doing a dine-in experience available from 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving. This feast will feature a wide array of items on their menu that blend their traditional, Italian steakhouse style with Thanksgiving favorites. The antipasti portion of the menu features charcuterie, honey glazed pork belly, brussel sprouts and cranberry and more. The main portion of the menu will offer different pastas including a butternut squash and scallops dish and a saffron square spaghetti. The secondi menu offers turkey roulade, veal ossobuco, rack of lamb and smoked salmon. Their firewood grill menu will be available, and the menu also features plenty of decadent sides and deserts to complete the meal. Tables may be reserved here.

Take-Out Options:

If not making Thanksgiving dinner is appealing to you, but you’d rather enjoy the food within the warmth of your own home, there are also take-out options available.

Elliott’s in Peachtree City is offering a Thanksgiving takeout menu with dishes that can be easily heated up and put on the platter. They will have main dishes available such as turkey breast and standing rib roast as well as sides such as collard greens, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes. Any to-go orders must be placed by Monday, November 24th at noon and be picked up by Wednesday, November 26th at 8:00 p.m. 

For a southern staple, classic Thanksgiving, Cracker Barrel has take-out options for a dinner (feeding 4-6 people) or a feast (feeding 8-10). These meals can be easily reheated and come with oven-roasted turkey breasts, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole with pecans, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet yeast rolls, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. This large menu will come in larger portions if you order the feast deal and will exclude the mashed potatoes and pies if you order the family deal. These orders can be scheduled from 11/22-11/30, but the restaurant will be available during normal hours for a dine-in experience as well. More information is available on their website.

The City Cafe and Bakery in Fayetteville is also doing take-out dinners that must be ordered by Monday, the 24th before noon and picked up by Wednesday, the 26th between 5-7 p.m. These take out dinners are also available in two sizes- a 4-6 person meal deal for $85 and an 8-10 personal meal for $160. The menu includes roasted savory and thyme turkey breasts, giblet pan gravy, glazed maple syrup baby carrots, garlic smashed red potatoes and more. To order ahead visit their website here.

Conference centers such as the Crowne Plaza and Hilton in Peachtree City will also have Thanksgiving options. The Crowne Plaza breakfast with an interactive omelet station as well as dinner options late in the day including French-style roasted turkey and seared salmon. Reservations can be made at 770-487-2666. The Hilton Conference Center in Peachtree City will have a buffet menu that includes a turkey carving station, mashed sweet potatoes, and classic holiday bread pudding.
