November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month, and Khloe is a wonderful reminder of how grateful older dogs can be. At about 6ā7 years old and 52 pounds, sheās a sweet, gentle girl with a shy nature that melts into affection once she feels safe.
Khloe is easy to walk and still has enough spunk to enjoy a bit of adventure. Sheās the best kind of āyoung seniorā who appreciates both quiet companionship and some light activity. Sheāll happily give soft kisses to those she trusts and would be endlessly grateful for a cozy, loving home. Khloe came into the shelter with another dog and while initially timid, she seems to love everyone.
Khloe has some teeth missing and eats only wet food, but otherwise seems in good health. Sheās spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and ready to settle in with someone who will give her the care and comfort she so desperately deserves.
Khloe and several other senior pets are available for adoption at Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open seven days a weekāMonday through Friday from 11ā5, and weekends from 12ā5. Come meet Khloe and experience what true love and gratitude can be.
