According to tallies from volunteers going precinct to precinct, Peachtree City Mayor Kim Learnard has won her second term. With only two precincts left to check, Learnard had an unassailable 54.25% of the vote over her challenger, former Mayor Steve Brown.

With those same two precincts missing, newcomer city council candidate Michael Polacek has beaten James Clifton, who campaigned alongside Brown, with more than 53% of the vote.

Early results look like Incumbent City Councilman Clint Holland has edged out Joe Campbell, but it’s still too early to tell, as their tallies are only 1% apart.

Stay tuned to The Citizen as we release results from all races, and verify these early results.
