U.S. Rep. Brian Jack joined Republican Public Service Commissioner Fitz Johnson Friday morning for a Get Out The Vote rally in Peachtree City. After casting his ballot, Jack encourage his fellow Fayette County voters to head to the polls or risk rising energy costs that liberal leadership would bring.
“Every Georgian across the entire state has an opportunity to vote in this critical election on Nov. 4,” Jack said. “It’s a very simple choice. If you want your rates to go up, you can vote for his opponent.”
Jack told the 20 activists gathered at Peachtree City Library that the Democrats’ Green New Deal policies would raise families’ energy prices by $800 a year.
“This election is about protecting Georgia families from high prices that would result from Democrats’ extreme Green New Deal policies,” Fitz Johnson said. “I’m fighting every day to keep prices lower for Georgia’s homeowners and businesses, and that’s why I delivered a three-year rate freeze that will provide stability and predictability for Georgians. Early voting is open now. Head to the polls before or on Election Day.”
Johnson and fellow Republican Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols are at the top of the ticket of Georgia’s statewide ballot.
