Delilah is a petite, 35-pound sweetheart who has endured far more than any dog should. Just three years old, she’s already been a mother many times and has been let down by humans more than once — through no fault of her own.
Quiet, gentle, and low-energy, Delilah carries her history with quiet grace. She approaches softly, leaning in for pets and offering gentle kisses. With her kind and patient demeanor, she has even helped other young frightened dogs learn how to walk on a leash.
Delilah is spayed, heartworm negative, and gets along well with everyone she meets. She just needs someone who will see her for who she truly is — a loving companion ready to give her whole heart to someone who will finally keep their promise.
Delilah is available for adoption at Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open Monday–Friday from 11–5 and weekends from 12–5. Come meet Delilah and show her what forever really means.
