Blue is a one-year-old, medium-sized dog (about 60 pounds) with striking good looks and plenty of personality. With his possible herding dog heritage, he’s as sharp as they come—super smart, eager to learn, and very responsive to training. Like many clever young dogs, Blue has a stubborn streak, but with the right guidance and consistency he’ll shine as a loyal, well-mannered companion.

This handsome boy loves playing with the water hose and can turn just about anything into a good time. He’s friendly with people and thrives on learning new things. Blue can be selective with other dogs, which may be partly due to the shelter environment.  He’ll do best with someone who can provide proper introductions and manage interactions.

Blue is available for adoption at Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open seven days a week—Monday through Fridayfrom 11–5, and weekends from 12–5. Come meet Blue and see if he’s the perfect match for your home.
