On what would have been their 24th birthday, author Emily LePage releases her debut book, Fragments of a Distant Heart, a tribute to her late twin brother, Chris LePage. This deeply personal work explores themes of grief, resilience, and enduring love, offering comfort and connection to others navigating loss.

Written with raw honesty and emotional depth, Fragments of a Distant Heart chronicles the journey of a young woman who transforms heartbreak into healing. Through poetic reflections, journal entries, and stories of shared childhood, the book invites readers into the sacred bond between twins — a bond that transcends time and tragedy.

Emily LePage, a second-degree black belt in karate and passionate advocate against drug abuse, has spoken at rallies and community events, using her voice to raise awareness about the fentanyl crisis and support those affected by it. Her activism and strength shine through every page of this book.

“This book is for anyone who has lost someone they can’t imagine living without,” says Emily. “It’s a love letter to my brother, and a message to others that they’re not alone.”

Fragments of a Distant Heart is available now on Amazon, with a portion of proceeds supporting organizations dedicated to grief support and drug prevention.

A book signing event will be held in October, date to be determined, at a local restaurant in Peachtree City, Georgia.
