Smokey Bones to close Peachtree City location; Trader Joe’s set to open later this year

Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill has announced it will be closing its Peachtree City location, located at 100 Market Pl. Blvd. The restaurant’s final day of operation will be Sunday, June 29.

“We’re so thankful for all the memories, meals, and moments we’ve shared with this amazing community. It’s been an incredible ride, and we couldn’t have done it without you,” the company shared in a statement posted Friday.

While Smokey Bones prepares to say goodbye, Peachtree City residents have another new addition to the city to look forward to. Trader Joe’s has allegedly set a time frame to open their doors in The Avenue in Peachtree City. According to an anonymous source in Peachtree City government, the grocery store is aiming to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
