Night Market, the beloved community gathering of artisan vendors, live music, and local flavors, is still set to take place this Friday, April 18, from 5 PM to 10 PM at Drake Field—despite the recent closure of the Pavilion due to structural concerns.

The City of Peachtree City announced that the Drake Field Pavilion is closed effective immediately as a safety precaution, following the identification of potential structural issues. Engineers will be on-site early next week to assess the structure. Drake Field itself remains fully open to the public, and the event will proceed with minor layout adjustments to accommodate the closure.

“We always prioritize the safety of our guests, and we’re grateful to the City for their transparency and quick response,” said Jason Bass, Night Market Organizer. “Night Market has always been about celebrating community outdoors, and Drake Field still offers a perfect setting for that. The Pavilion may be closed, but the energy, the music, and the magic of Night Market are still very much on.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, support the vendors, and enjoy the lakefront vibe under the stars.
