Benjamin “Ben” Franklin Bartlett, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on November 13, 2024, in Newnan, Georgia. Born on April 28, 1939, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Benjamin and Ethel Bartlett, Sr.
Ben led a fulfilling career as a line maintenance technician for Delta Air Lines. Most importantly he cherished every moment spent with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Robert M. Bartlett. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Bartlett; children Wendy (Michael) Johnson and Wanda Bartlett; grandchildren, Caroline (Caleb) Keaton, Anna Johnson, and Lauren Johnson; great-grandchildren, Olivia Keaton and Lillian Keaton; siblings, Kay (Frank) Whitney, Gary (Joyce) Pearson, Joette (Mike) Oxford, and Kay (James) Richardson; as well as nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery, Luthersville.
