Peggy Jo White, 82, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born to the late Olen D. Seay and Cynthia Conner Seay in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, July 5, 1941.

Peggy worked at J.C. Penney Distribution for 34 years, lived in the Fayetteville community for 41 years, and attended Harps Crossing Baptist Church faithfully.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Emmett White. She is survived by her three daughters, Karla (David) Sowell, Paula (David) McClendon, and Debra Kay Patterson; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Visitation will occur prior to the service on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4-6:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, on April 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
