Patricia Jo Forlines, a dedicated homemaker, peacefully passed away on January 4, 2024, in Fayetteville, Georgia.
She was born on August 26, 1940, in Huntington, West Virginia. Patricia was 83 years old at the time of her passing.
Born to Mildred King, Patricia grew up in Miami, Florida before marrying Mike Forlines then embarking on a journey of love, family, and nurturing her loved ones after retirement. She was a graduate of North Miami High school and attended many reunions.
She devoted her life to serving others while creating a warm and loving home for her family, finding joy in taking care of them. Patricia was blessed with a long and fulfilling marriage of 63 years to her beloved husband, Mike Forlines. Together, they created a loving foundation for their family, cherishing each other’s presence throughout the years.
Left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her son Robert (Annette) Forlines, daughter Beverly (Steve) McElveen. Patricia’s love and guidance will forever be treasured by her children, grandchildren, and great grandsons. In addition to her immediate family, Patricia leaves behind her sister, Carol (Richard) Lewis, and a legacy of cherished memories with her grandchildren: Jade (Cody) Sapp, Holland Forlines, Samantha McElveen, and Riley McElveen. She was also blessed with four great-grandsons who were the apple of her eye.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred King, but her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her strength and resilience were evident in her battle against breast cancer, overcoming it twice with courage and determination.
Patricia will be remembered for her kind heart, her ability to uplift others, and her dedication to her family. She was a true encourager and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her servant’s heart extended to her closest friends, for whom she held a deep and special bond.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, at Woodgate Community Clubhouse, 124 Woodgate Circle, Fayetteville, 30214.
