Two men were apprehended the morning of Nov. 18 at the Kwik Wash on N. Glynn St. in Fayetteville on drug and weapons charges.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department report, the suspects — Michael Austin, 34, of Decatur; and Jonathan Pesavage, 28, of Fayetteville — were found in possession of MDMA, a Schedule II drug. It was listed on the report as amphetamine.

The Fayette County Jail log listed both men as facing a felony drug charge and misdemeanor marijuana possession, with Pesavage also being charged with a felony count of possession of a firearm/knife in commission of a crime.

Elsewhere in Fayetteville on that same day, a Fairburn man was arrested in the wee hours of the morning with other controlled substances.

Reports suggest that a traffic stop led to the arrest. Jay Carter, 33, of Fairburn was charged with felony drug possession as well as a tail light violation, according to the jail log.

The Fayetteville Police report indicated that he possessed a “trlli Peachieos” THC gummy pack, which is a Schedule I drug. It was listed on the report as a hallucinogen.
