Robert Stephen Leeson, 74, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away August 3, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri, to the late Ralph and Margolene Leeson.
Steve was a navy veteran of 24 years as a supply Corp. officer. In 1994 he retired as a Commander. During his career he earned his MBA at Ohio State University. He was a great lover of books and had a library of almost 5000 books.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife, Barbara Leeson. He is survived by his children, Jill (Jose) Gomez, Melanie Leeson, Aaron (Lara) Leeson and Seth (Lona) Leeson; brother, Gary Leeson; grandchildren, Zachary, Madeline, Zach, Isabelle, Alex, Matthew, Christian, Mila, and Noah; as well as extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 09, 2023, at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
