Sandy Creek High capped off a great school year with a trio of top awards on Senior Honors Night.

Geimere Latimer is the winner of the Superintendent’s Award. The Superintendent’s Award is given to one senior at each county high school and chosen based on traits of leadership, character, and citizenship.

Kaleb Cost was awarded the Mowell Cup. First presented in 1965, the Mowell Cup is the oldest award given in Fayette County. The recipient of this award should be outstanding in academics and extra-curricular activities, be a class leader and role model, and display concern for others.

Connor Lannaman is the winner of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Cup. The AJC Cup is awarded annually to the most outstanding all-around senior at each high school in the metro-area. Students are selected by the faculty based on excellence in academics, leadership, integrity, and extracurricular involvement.
