Martha Sue Kilgore Thompson, age 88, of Griffin, Georgia (March 23, 1935 – June 14, 2023) passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Monroe County Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was born March 23, 1935 in Fayette County. Her parents, Leonard J. Kilgore and Mary Lucile Mallory Kilgore, husband, Ronnie Thompson, sister, Nancy Smith, brothers, Stewart Kilgore and Donald Kilgore preceded her in death. She retired from TDK and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Billie Sue Leverett (Danny), Alex Leverett (Valerie); grandchildren, Shane Bean (Nikki), Tyler Leverett, Harley Leverett (Jessie), Dalton Leverett (Kailey), Logan Leverett (Harley); great grandchildren, Brayleigh Bean, Nick Edge (Anna), Tatum Bean, Grayson Leverett, Oakleigh Leverett, Breylen Leverett, Kynley Leverett, Rosalie Leverett, Eleanor Leverett, Alexis Leverett; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Martha Sue Thompson will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
