Mildred Jane Clarke, 95, of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away March 9, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1927, in Nutley, New Jersey, to the late John and Ellen Elsishans.
She was the last member to leave the Vreeland/Baldwin family homestead on Bloomfield Avenue in Nutley, New Jersey. She graduated Nutley High School in 1945 and went on to work as a secretary in Newark at a large insurance company.
In 1949 she married Donald L. Clarke also of Nutley. Mildred will always be remembered for her incredible kindness and fabulous laugh!
Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband; and her son, Greg Clarke. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Steven) Rosen; grandchildren, Matthew Rosen, and Alyson Rosen; cousins, Bob, Dick, Nancy Baldwin, CJ Elsishans; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will take place in both Florida and Nutley, New Jersey, at a later date.
