Tiger spirit is in the air. Leading up to their first football game, Fayette County High hosted an impromptu pep rally, complete with hard-earned treats.

Students who were following the dress code were given a Golden Ticket redeemable for a popsicle, and they enjoyed their icy treats while the FCHS band performed.

The initiative was the brainchild of Principal Yolanda Briggs-Johnson.

“It was a way to acknowledge our students and thank them for meeting our expectations and following our motto ‘Excellence In All We Do’ with Tiger Pride and our PBIS mantra ROAR (Respect, On time, Attentive, Resilient).”
