No yolk, they had an eggs-cellent time at Peachtree City Elementary with their egg drop STEM challenge.
Continuing a yearly tradition, kindergarten students worked independently to create a container that could cushion an egg when dropped from the roof of the school.
Principal Dr. Kristin Berryman and Assistant Principal John Gibbas ascended to the roof of the building where a rope and pulley system allowed each container to be dropped. Some students were successful, and some were not so successful, but everyone had fun.
Parents were invited to come and join the festivities, and children wonder each year how the administrative team manages to get up to the roof of the building when there are no ladders on the outside. The answer, of course, is pixie dust!
