Ronald McCurry, 86, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born on July 6, 1935, in Candler, North Carolina.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was instrumental in the development of McCurry Park South. In honor of his effort and contributions the park was named after him.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Tommy) Graham; his grandchildren, La’Rin (Roy) York, Meagan (Stephen) Janes, Dabriel Graham, Favian (Alex) Graham, and Langley (Zach) Graham; as well as his great-grandchildren, Kemper, Randi Mae, Easton, Lillian, and Courtlin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Stephens County Memorial Gardens, Toccoa, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald’s name to Raintree Village Inc.
