Debbie Hoyt, 86, passed away peacefully December 31, 2021 at Wesley Woods in Newnan, GA. Debbie had lived in Peachtree City near family for the past nine years.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, John S. Hoyt; her children, Kimberly S. Hoyt, Michael S. Hoyt, and Jensine H. Sutherland; her four grandchildren, Angela Hoyt, Lindsay Hoyt, Camden Sutherland, and Tanner Sutherland; as well as her brother, Chuck Pond, of Tampa, FL.

Debbie was born in Cleveland, OH on August 11, 1935. She grew up in Mt. Vernon, OH with her parents, Bill and Helen Pond, along with her brother. She met her husband, John, in the eighth grade and married him after attending DePauw University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Together they raised their family while living in Midland, MI before moving to Mission Viejo, CA. Debbie was very active in the Mission Viejo Presbyterian Church and was head of the Women’s Association for many years.

A private memorial service is being held for Debbie on Saturday, January 8 for the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
