The Southern Crescent Chorale has a rich history of presenting Benefit Concerts to help our area’s children’s organizations. Since 2004, the chorale has partnered with many high school and community choirs to bring our community outstanding choral music and has raised thousands of dollars for these organizations through these benefit concerts.

SCC’s next concert is a very special event! Sponsored by Stephen Walker of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, the Chorale will be partnering with the choruses of Fayette County High, McIntosh High, Sandy Creek High, and Whitewater High schools to present a Virtual Benefit Concert for The Joseph Sams School.

This concert will premiere on Saturday, April 17 at 7 p.m. on YouTube and can be viewed at any time after that date for six months.  You can find a link to the concert on the SCC website (www.southerncrescentchorale.org) a few days before the concert.

We hope that many folks will join us for the premiere and make a generous donation directly to the Joseph Sams School website. (https://josephsamsschool.org/) For more information, go to www.southerncrescentchorale.org or call 770-716-1231. — Janice Folsom, SCC director
