7th grader: I want to see my school friends

This is a letter to the editor from my son, Bo Merritt, who is a 7th grader in Fayette County.

Dear The Citizen,

I will be heading back to school in a few weeks and it seems like we will be doing an AB schedule.

This means that I will be going back face-to-face with other students but not all of them. I will be at school two days a week and staying home the other three days.

I wish I was heading back more days so that I can see and talk to all of my friends. Also, I would learn better face-to-face.

But an AB schedule is better than staying virtual every day for the entire year.

Bo Merritt, 7th grader

Fayetteville, Ga.
