A 22-year-old Peachtree City woman has been charged with child molestation involving a juvenile known to her. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
Brittany S. Barber was charged with one count of child molestation, according to Fayette County Jail records.
Peachtree City Police Department spokesman Chris Hyatt said Barber was arrested on May 19.
Hyatt said Barber and the juvenile victim are known to each other.
The investigation covers repeated incidents that began in 2019 and occurred in multiple counties, but with the same victim, Hyatt said.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to be forthcoming.
