Doris Elizabeth McClure, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Fayette Piedmont Hospital in Fayetteville, Ga. She was born August 13, 1940 in Philipsburg, Pa. She was a sister to Thomas, Robert, Judy, Pat, Helen, Bob, Earl, and Connie.
Doris married in 1959 to Allan B. McClure and had four children; James, Christopher, Jeannie, and Allan. Doris lived a full life up to her final few days. She worked from 1982 to 2008 building her career.
Her last 10 years were very active while living in Georgia with her son, Allan and daughter-in-law Hilliary, while surrounded by grandchildren Gavin and Mady, the Morris family, and friends.
Her life was celebrated at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Ga. and will again be remembered in Philipsburg, Pa. where she has many friends and family members. Doris was known for her endless energy and limitless help for others. She will be greatly missed.
