Vicky Leigh Stith Rucco, passed away on October 31, 2018 at the age of 70.
Ms. Rucco was an Atlanta native and longtime resident of Peachtree City. After graduating from Fulton High School in Atlanta she worked for several decades and later retired from the United States Government where she served as a Procurement Officer at Fort McPherson.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Rucco Webb; as well as her parents, Leland Melton Stith and Ruby Haynes Stith.
Ms. Rucco is survived by her grandchildren, Emerald, Alexis and Jeffery Webb; her great-grandson, Ace Peacock; sisters, Elaine Stith Tarleton and Lynn Stith Burns; two nieces; two nephews; numerous cousins; and many beloved relatives from the Haynes and Stith families.
A memorial service will be held on November 12, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. and officiated by The Reverend Michael Billingsley. The family will receive friends and family before the service at 3 p.m. The service and visitation will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations honoring the life and memory of Ms. Rucco may be made to the American Cancer Society.
