Law enforcement probes 2 burglaries in Peachtree City, 1 in Fayetteville

There were three burglaries and two entering autos reported across Fayette County during the period of July 14-21.

In Fayetteville, the Sprint store on Ga. Highway 85 North had the rear door forced open on July 16 and 10 iPads stolen, according to Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Chad Myers.

Myers said the suspect is a black male wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, and a possible female suspect wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.

A July 14 burglary occurred at a Rock Creek Drive residence in Peachtree City. A rear door was forced, but a search of the house revealed nothing missing, according to Peachtree City Police Department reports.

A second Peachtree City burglary occurred on July 15 at a Turnbridge Circle residence. The master bedroom window was shattered and the room rummaged through but nothing was reported stolen, according to police reports.

An entering auto incident in Peachtree City was reported on July 14 at a business on Clover Reach. Police reports said a purse was stolen from the back seat of an unlocked vehicle.

Also on July 14, the rear window of a vehicle in the Fayette County government complex parking lot has a rear window broken and a purse stolen from the back seat.
