Granton Corbett Johnson, 20, of Coffeyville, Kan. formerly of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018.
He was born on July 19, 1997 at Joplin, Mo. to Steve D. and Angela Diane (Palmer) Johnson. Granton spent his early years in Carthage, Mo. where he started grade school. His family moved to Peachtree City, Ga. where he attended school until moving to Neodesha, Kan. where he graduated from Neodesha High School.
Survivors include his son, Brentlee Dean Johnson of Coffeyville; his mother, Angela Keath of Coffeyville; his father, Steve D. Johnson of Peachtree City, Ga.; one sister, Madison Johnson of Bartlesville, Okla.; three brothers, Samuel Johnson, Matthew Johnson, and Andrew Johnson all of Peachtree City, Ga.; his grandmother, Karen Thomas and husband, Harry of Coffeyville; his grandfather, Lee Palmer and wife, Paula of Edna, Kan. He is also survived by step-mother, Missy Brazier of Peachtree City, Ga.; step-grandparents, Bud and Linda Brazier of Licking, Mo.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Coffeyville First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ford Hall officiating. Burial followed in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a fund established for his son, Brentlee Dean Johnson; contributions can be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, Kan. 67337.
