Leona Bishop, age 91

Leona “Annette” Bishop, 91, of Hampton, passed away May 31, 2018.  She was born on February 21, 1927 in Smyrna, Ga. to the late Frederick and Rosa Mae Wilkie.  Annette was wonderful at sewing and enjoyed making clothes for others. She was also known for her famous chocolate cake as well as many other dishes.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Bishop on December 22, 2012.

She is survived by her son, Fred (June) Bishop of Newnan; daughters, Paula (John) Littleton of Fayetteville and Pamela (Larry) Hogue; sons, Phil Bishop and Jody Bishop; thirteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, June Gittens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with The Reverend Dr. Justin P. Kollmeyer officiating.  The family received friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the funeral home.
