0Franklin Eugene “Gene” Day passed away on May 9, 2018. Gene was born on October 24, 1946 in Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Day, and his sister, The Honorable Josephine Hunnicutt.
Gene is survived by his sister, Kay (Charles) Leonard, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Graveside service willl be held on May 12, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga.
