Phyllis went to be with the Lord suddenly on June 25, 2017.
Phyllis was born June 23, 1936 in Grandville, Michigan to Fred and Bessie Smith. Phyllis is survived by her 4 children-Darlene Poole, Marlene Henry, Alan Adams, Cara Adams,and her grandchildren, along with her brother Ron Smith and his family, and former husbands Al Adams and Nicholas Donato.
Phyllis achieved her degree in accounting in California and then went on to gain her Real Estate License and Brokers License in California. She volunteered for the Assistance League in Riverside, California for many years. After many years living in California, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama, and then to Peachtree City, Georgia where she was a member of All Saints Anglican Church. Phyllis loved to cook, her favorite being Italian food and she always had food to share when anyone came to visit. She always made you feel welcome and with a smile. She will be truly missed.
A memorial and celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, 149 Ebenezer Rd. Fayetteville, Ga. 30215. Guests are asked to please bring a picture of Phyllis if available to place on the memorial table. A remembrance gathering will follow in the fellowship hall after the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Phyllis’ memory to All Saints Anglican Church.
