Ricky “Rick” Leland Lee, 52, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2017 in Franklin, Tenn.
Rick was born February 2, 1965 to Leland and Shirley Lee. He graduated from Newnan High School in 1983 and went on to graduate from Georgia State University, majoring in Psychology. In 1992, he married Lisa Miklas and would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in September. In 1998 and 2002, Rick welcomed his sons, Austin Miklas Lee and Blake Christian Lee. He was a devoted father and husband who loved his family deeply.
Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Miklas Lee of Fayetteville, Ga.; sons, Austin Miklas Lee and Blake Christian Lee of Fayetteville, Ga.; and parents, Leland and Shirley Lee of Newnan, Ga.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Brooks City Cemetery, Brooks. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
