Peter Torres, 79, of Peachtree City passed away June 30, 2017. He was born in Bronx, N.Y. on August 30, 1937 to Pedro and Natividad Torres.
Mr. Torres retired from Delta Airlines as a mechanic after 15 years and also worked for Pam Am Airlines for 27 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was active in the American Legion Post 50 and the Masonic Lodge #711 as well as the Peachtree City Community Garden and the Peachtree City Garden Club.
Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Patricia Torres; children, Annie (Alain) Olivier and Anthony (Linda) Torres; grandchildren, twins, Luc and Indigo Olivier and Charlie and Julia Torres, and David (Erica) Cowart; great-grandchildren, Luna and Emerald; and cousin, John Matias.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 10-12 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
