Douglas Harold Horgen, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away May 29, 2017. He was born in Augsburg, Germany on July 19, 1957 to the late William and Patricia Horgen.

He is survived by his wife, Betty N. Horgen; son, Douglas Horgen (Katie Powers); daughters, Ashley (Chad) Embry and Courtney Harrison; brothers, Leif (Jeannette) Horgen and Bill (Brenda) Horgen; sister, Jan Funderburg; three grandchildren, Emma Embry, Hunter and Faith Harrison; stepmother, Nancy Horgen; mother-in-law, Wilma Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Reverend J. W. Wallis officiating. The family received friends from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
