The Fayette County Kiwanis Club is holding its Suds on the Square Craft Beer & Wine Festival on Saturday.
The craft beer festival is taking place on the grounds of the original Fayette County courthouse building. Tickets are $45. The event is from noon-5 p.m. More than 25 breweries and wineries will participate in Saturday’s festival.
All tickets are non-refundable as the event is held, rain or shine. Here are some commonly asked questions about the event:
•Who is allowed into the festival?
This event is family friendly, anyone will be allowed in with an adult or guardian. You must be 21 or older to drink but the food is available for all.
•What kinds of items am I allowed to bring to the festival? All attendees that will sample the beer or wine must bring an ID to validate they are over 21. Folding chairs are allowed. Don’t forget your tickets.
•What happens if it rains?
All ticket sales are final- the festival will continue rain or shine!
•What kinds of items are not allowed into the festival?
No outside food or drink, glass, or illegal substances- we’re here to have safe fun!
•Will there be parking?
Festival parking will be available, but limited- carpooling is encouraged. No overnight parking is allowed.
•Are dogs allowed?
All pets must be on leash and conform to all applicable ordinances (i.e. pick up after your pooch!)
Other activities at the festival include strong man contest, giant Jenga and cornhole.
