SPLOST issue to be decided in Fayette and Coweta on March 21

Early voting for the Fayette County SPLOST and Coweta County ESPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) are underway.

Polls are open at the Fayette County elections office at the county complex in downtown Fayetteville, at the Peachtree City Library and at Tyrone Town Hall, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, through March 17.

There will be no voting on Monday, March 20.

Voters who vote on Election Day, March 21, should go to their normal polling place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

In Coweta, early voting for the March 21 special ESPLOST election runs Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. through Friday, March 17.

There will be one Saturday during early voting on March 11 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Early voting is available at two locations. Those include the Voter Registration office, 22 East Broad Street, and the East Side Advance Voting Site at 65 Literary Lane.
